Who we are

This website is run by NEXTUP (also trading as NEXTUP Web Design), a sole operator business based in Newcastle, NSW, run by Cameron Jeanes. When we say "we", "us" or "our" on this page, that's who we mean.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us. That can include:

• When you book a call: your name, email, phone number and any answers you add about your business
• When you become a client and fill in our onboarding form: your business details, contact details, service areas, branding files and the other project information the form asks for
• When you email or call us: whatever you include in that conversation

We don't ask for sensitive information (like ID numbers) and we never take card details through this website. Ad spend is paid straight to Meta from your own account.

Why we collect it and how we use it

To reply to you, run the call you booked, work out whether we're a good fit, and deliver the work if we go ahead. Because you've reached out, we may follow up by email or phone.

We won't spam you. We don't add you to bulk email lists off the back of a booking or an enquiry, and we never sell or rent your details. If we ever want to send you ongoing marketing, we'll ask first.

Where your information goes

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site and the business: Cal.com (call bookings), Meta (ad measurement), Google (form storage and email notifications), Vercel (website hosting), and Vimeo and YouTube (the videos on this site). Some of them store data on servers outside Australia, including the United States. We only share what's needed for them to provide that service.

Cookies and analytics

We use the Meta Pixel on this site. It tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when someone visits a page, answers our short fit questions or books a call, so we can measure our ads and show them to people more likely to be interested. Meta may use cookies and similar technology to collect this, and may match it to your Meta account. You can control how Meta uses it for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or block it with your browser's privacy settings. The embedded booking calendar and videos come from Cal.com, Vimeo and YouTube, and those services may set their own cookies when they load or when you press play.

How we keep it safe

Access to your details is limited to us. The tools we use have their own security protections. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and don't keep it longer than we need to.

Accessing, correcting or deleting your information

At any time you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct anything that's wrong, or delete your details entirely. Just email us and we'll sort it, usually within a few days.
