Reading Your Ad Reports

Ads Manager hands you forty numbers and hides the six that matter. Work out what a job is costing you, then tap any metric to find out what it means and what normal looks like for a trade.

Meta will show you about forty numbers and roughly six of them decide whether your ads are making money. This is those six, plus the ones people panic about for no reason.

Before anything else: don't judge an ad on day one. Give it 3 to 4 days and at least a few hundred impressions before you touch it, or you'll be reacting to noise.

Start with your own four numbers

Every benchmark below reads differently depending on what a job is worth to you. Put your last month in and you'll know which end of the ranges you should be aiming at. Nothing here is saved or sent anywhere.

Put in the spend and the number of enquiries and the rest fills itself in.

Then tap whatever number you're stuck on

Straight out of Ads Manager, in the order you'll meet them.
